‘Glam Rock Special’ 28th March 2013

Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s been a while since we last had a ‘Special’, but as promised back then, I said I’d do another spesh in March. Such was the positive feedback from presenting a ‘Glam Rock’ edition of The Classic Rock Show, it was a bit of a no-brainer not to do another one.

So get your platform boots, spangly tank top, feather boa, spandex ‘loons, big hair and Colgate smile for next week, 28th March, as we’re gonna rock it up glam-style…alright??

NEWS: We’re delighted to announce…..

GET IN!!!!!

We’re delighted to announce that Bex Rocks @Chili_bex will be presenting her show on the first Thursday of the month commencing 4th April 7pm!!

As many of you know, Bex is a long-time friend of ‘The Classic Rock Show’ and fellow presenter. She stood in for me recently while I was away in Australia and brings with her a great deal of experience, knowledge and enthusiasm.

Negotiations have been long and fraught….well, not really…I asked if she’d like to do a regular show again, to which she responded within a blink of an eye “Yeah baby…let’s do it!!” 🙂

Of the new venture, Bex said “I’m really excited to be back and will give you lashings of new and old rockin’ goodness on the first Thursday of every month!”

So there you have it…we hope you’re as stoked as we are!!

We’ll be sharing more news about the show soon.

New production due very soon…!!!

Really excited about some new production elements I’ll be bringing in to ‘The Classic Rock Show’ in the very near future. It’s a considerable investment on my part, reflecting how much I really appreciate your commitment to tuning in to the show every week as you do.

I’ll be able to share a bit more with you soon, but in the meantime, enjoy the rest of your weekend.

NEWS: ‘The Classic Rock Show’ is thrilled to announce…

We’ve been trailing over the past couple of days that we’ve a big announcement to make.

I have to say that I hadn’t quite expected so many Facebook PMs and Twitter DMs asking me about what we had planned. My goodness, you’re so impatient…Lol!!

Well, the wait is finally over and I’m absolutely thrilled to announce that fellow presenter and long-time friend of the show, ‘The Queen Of Rock‘, Bex (see pic below) will be taking over the helm for a few weeks while I take a little holiday. I couldn’t wish for a better stand-in as Bex already has a great following in her own right and you’ve all got to know her through TCRS as she’s guested on the show many times over the years.

Bex says: “I’m really, really excited to be doing this and I can’t wait for Thursday night! I just know it’s going to be a lot of fun. Presenting ‘The Classic Rock Show’ is a big gig and MJs given me license to put my own spin on things, which is great…I just hope you’ll like what I play. Ooooh I’m soooo excited!! Bex on ‘The Classic Rock Show’….Whoo Hoo, you better watch out!!”

So there you have it. I’m really grateful to Bex. I’m quite sure you’ll make her feel welcome and at home.

I’ll see you on my return. Keep on rockin’!!
