It was wonderful to see all your comments, but above all, for sending in such great quality requests. As I’ve said time and time again…The Classic Rock Show is YOUR show and not a show that some corporate bod wants or thinks you want!

As you can see, we covered a lot of ground and judging by the feedback received during and after the broadcast, it was a success. Let’s do it again sometime…yeah?

As mentioned during a show a few weeks ago, I’ve really enjoyed listening to Sandi Thom’s version of a Guns ‘N’ Roses classic, taken from her album called ‘The Covers Collection’. It’s an album crammed full of her interpretations of some of the greatest rock classics; including Heart’s ‘Alone’, ‘Times Like These’ by the Foo Fighters, ‘Black Velvet’ by Alannah Myles, Aerosmith’s ‘Dream On’ and Led Zeppelin’s ‘The Rain Song’, to name but a few.
This got me thinking; it’s been a good while since I put together a Classic Rock Show ‘Cover Versions’ Special. When these have been aired these in the past, a good few surprises have been heard amongst those that are perhaps more familiar to our ears. Each show has always gone down a storm.
