Mr John McCoy [ex #Gillan #Mammoth #GMT #Samson] is ‘The Classic Rock Show’ studio guest on 30th January

On Thursday 30th January, I’ll be joined in the studio by Mr John McCoy [ex Zzebra, Samson, Gillan, GMT, Mammoth].

John has been a regular contributor to the show; indeed, last year we got together to chat about his music career. You can still catch the two-part interview via our Mixcloud stream (see link below), so it’s a real treat for me to welcome him to the studio.

Amongst the usual mayhem that has become the norm over the past four years on a Thursday night, John’s tales of rock ‘n’ roll’s jolly japes will be interspersed with a healthy scattering of some choice of tunes which he has chosen to share with you.

Share this event on your Facebook Timeline and invite all fellow rockers along for this rather special show, more details of which will be announced soon.

Bex @chili_bex is ready to rock the house tonight!!

Ladies and gentlemen…Bex is all set to rock the house tonight!!

This will be here first show for a while as in early December 2013 a ‘Flood Alert’ was issued here in Felixstowe UK, and those who lived down by the seafront were asked to evacuate their homes. Understandably, Bex was unable to air her show. But now she’s back to kick 2014 off with some typically LOUD TUNES!!

Don’t miss this one…it’s gonna be brutal. 7pm here.

Thanks for an amazing 2013. Here’s to 2014!!

Hello there.

That’s another year gone by, huh?!

We hope you’ve enjoyed partying with us throughout the year on a Thursday night. We’ve most certainly enjoyed playing what you wanted to hear.

Without you lot tuning in each and every week and spreading the word we would be nothing. You’ve been absolutely fanf*kintastic!

The Classic Rock Show ‘Christmas Party’ is all set to be a cracker!! Feast your mince pies on this…

I’m duty bound to empty my sack again this week, even more so ‘cos it’s Christmas 😉

The Classic Rock Show ‘Christmas Party’ is all set to be a cracker!! Feast your mince pies on this little lot…

Our playlist this week is made up of Magnum, Thin Lizzy, Gillan, Boston, .38 Special, Heart, Iron Butterfly, Humble Pie, Accept, Halestorm, Fall Out Boy, Ozzy, Poison, Bon Jovi, Heavy Pettin’, as well as a couple of dozen or so great sounding rock tracks, intermingled with some festive numbers to keep in the spirit of things.

Come and party with us this Thursday, 7pm – here. We’ll be the loud one’s wearing reindeer antlers, rocking out, generally misbehaving and drinking Jägerbombs.

Sound like a plan? Too right.

Last week’s playlist plus we can now start up our ‘Request-line’ for 19th December show!

Hello everyone.

Thanks for all the +tive vibes both during and after last week’s show. One of the most enjoyable things for me when presenting a ‘live’ show is to see from the comments and posts made on Twitter and Facebook just how much everyone is having a good time. That’s what it’s all about, after all!

Imagine life without rock ‘n’ roll? Imagine Thursday’s without The Classic Rock Show? No, I can’t either! #Thanksgiving

Hello everyone.

Thursday has come around again. Thank goodness for that!! 

Gotta also thank all those of you who have contributed song requests towards this week’s playlist. The Classic Rock Show is built around what you want to hear. That’s the way you like it, that’s the way we like it and that’s the way it’s gonna stay. You okay with that? 😉

On the show this evening, we’ve got Judas Priest, Diamond Head, Whitesnake, Hawkwind, Rainbow, Lone Star, Kiss, Little Angels, Magnum, Tool and a request to play something off the new Cold Cold Ground album (which, I might add, is really rather bloody good). Plus a whole heap of other prime cuts.

Tune in this evening from 7pm (GMT) to hear some of the very best rock ‘n’ roll produced from years gone by, right up to the present day.
