Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators, has returned with brand new album ‘World on Fire’.

The lead single to the album ’30 Years To Life’ as well as the album’s title track, have received huge radio support from pretty much every rock radio station known to mankind, including independent local radio.

‘World on Fire’ contains a colossal 17 tracks and is Slash’s third solo album, the previous two being self-titled, if you remember, and ‘Apocalyptic Love’.

Just a taste of what we’ve got for you on the show tonight!

Thursday has come around so quick, right?  Well, we don’t mind that at all….oh no!

Some of you like to know what we’re up to later, so here’s just a little taste of what we’ve got lined up for the show tonight:

Motorhead, Metallica, Ratt, Warrant, Keel, Lion, Queensryche, Enuff Z’nuff, Little Angels, Massive, Alter Bridge, Pearl Jam, Delain, Nazareth, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Axel Rudi Pell, The Temperance Movement. 

As well as the weekly ‘Roll Call’ feature, we’ll be announcing two dates to put in your diary: 

The next Classic Rock Show ’80s Special’. Part 2 (in our series of 10 shows that takes us year by year through the Rock decade that totally rocked) will be 1981!

Another date to look out for is one we’ve set for a welcome back into the studio ex-Hawkwind bassist Alan Davey. As well as catching up on Alan’s to’ings and fro’ings, we’ll have a couple of World Exclusive’s to play which are set for release in 2015!

PLUS…we’ll have news on my interview with Delain’s Charlotte Wessels.

Plenty to get through, as always.

Tonight from 7pm on The #ClassicRock Show…

Hello everybody

 

First off, thanks for all the nice words of encouragement sent in both during and after last weeks show. We’ll be doing Part 4 (1976 & 1977) of our series of ‘Specials’ which has focussed on the 1970s before the end of the year.

Secondly, Thursday has come around again quickly…thank you!!

#ClassicRock Show on at 7pm (UK time) 10/10. Get ready to rock!!

Hello dear friends.

Tomorrow night sees us all rocking out to your requests…and what a selection!! From bands such as UFO, Scorpions, Judas Priest, Fleetwood Mac, The Answer, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Vandenburg, Tyketto, Sixx A.M., Free, Thin Lizzy, Led Zeppelin…and the list goes on and on.

The playlist is now pumped, primed and ready to go with some David Bowie, Marc Bolan, Guns ‘N’ Roses, Thunder, Krokus, Bonafide, The Quireboys, Roy Buchanan added into the mix for good measure.
