This Thursday ‘The Classic Rock Show’ is going to take you back to 1985 in Part 6 of our series of shows entitled ‘Back To The 80s’.

TONIGHT: Here’s what we’ve got lined up…

TCRS tonight

After last week’s ‘Bex Rocks’, we’re back behind the wheel again tonight with three hours of rock tuneage for you: Two from Mötley Crüe and AC/DC, some proper good ol’ Southern Rock with The Allman Brothers, Grinderswitch and The Marshall Tucker Band, along with Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Manowar, The Cult, Helloween, Biffy Clyro, Gary Moore, Deep Purple and Black Sabbath.

Plus we’ve got some more new music; from Long John Laundry, The Picturebooks and The Vintage Caravan, as well as track from each of the four bands who begin their UK Tour together next week – Coal Chamber, Soil, The Defiled and Dope.

We’ll be playing tracks from albums by Anthrax, Pantera and Saxon, who released albums back in the day around this time in May.

NEWS: A Classic Rock Show ‘Special’ (Part 5 of 10) – Back To The 80s “1984”

Following our homage to the 70s, The Classic Rock Show is back with another ‘Special‘, this time we’re taking you back to the 80s.But we just couldn’t squeeze a whole decade of great music into one three-hour show. We’re gonna break it up into ten, yes ten, ‘Specials’…’80 through to ’89!!
1980, ’81, ’82 and ’83 have already been covered…Part 5 of ‘Back To The 80s’ will bring back to life the year 1984.
